Biography:

Diverse Occupational Therapy is passionate about offering diverse services to support you in achieving balance and living well.

We understand that everyone’s life is unique, so we design therapy tailored to help you improve your well-being.

We all need to achieve a balance between our mental, physical and emotional health to live well. This balance can be disrupted by unexpected challenges limiting our ability not only to do what we want, but also how and when we want to do it. Sometimes, this can be difficult to adapt to or overcome without support.

Diverse Occupational Therapy understands how unexpected challenges can create barriers that negatively impact a person’s ability to complete everyday activities and live well. We explore how these events affect your overall well-being and day-to-day living, then work with you to reduce these barriers or help you build skills to live your best life.

We will work at your pace to overcome challenges and live well

Diverse Occupational Therapy provides targeted education, interventions and support to empower individuals to live more confidently and comfortably each day.

Psychological, emotional, social, environmental and physical challenges can negatively impact your daily work, home, social or leisure activities (occupations). The inability to manage these challenges can have long-term effects on your overall well-being.

At Diverse Occupational Therapy, we focus on the psychological, emotional or social barriers and how they impact you and your family. Our services aim to develop practical strategies and build skills allowing you to independently manage daily symptoms, develop living skills, reach goals and overall function better to improve your quality of life.

Our occupational therapists use their unique skill set to work one-on-one with you and collaborate with other treatment providers to identify obstacles that disrupt daily activity and provide services and support to overcome these challenges.
